They should replay this sometime in the next few days if you miss it.

Barry Meguiar interviews Cadillac's Mark LaNeve. Dont miss it!.... Man he is one mobsterish lookin guy!

He admits that Cadillac and GM messed up during the late 70's and throughout the 80's... Even goes as far as to say there was alot of badge engineering and cost cutting going on and that quality really slipped. Remember he is also the one that was sort of responsible for "Break Through". He seems like a cool dude.

He also said that a Sheik offered him 10 million for the Sixteen at the Dubai auto show.

Yeah I heard about the 10 million thing before, they wouldnt sell it though.
THe same guy loves to make all his cars red, and come companies dont like that idea.
What channel is this on?

Well I don't know what Cadillac is waiting for. If they want their ultra-status Standard of the World image back they had better build the darn thing!

Obviously they will sell and they only need to make about 10 or 20 per year to get attention from every major automotive news media on the planet!

The time is NOW Cadillac!!

Its on the Speed Channel. Your local listing will vary.

I really liked Mark, I expected him to be a typical suit and talk a whole bunch of BS about everything theyre doing right and nothing theyve done wrong, but he pointed out several times that America had always been number one in so many different areas, and that it was sad that we had allowed our European and Asian competition to top us in our vehicles, but that it was the case and Cadillac has fought back to regain its status. He said there is still alot of work to do too.

He seems like a genuine car guy and its healthy for him to be there with Cadillac. I like the guy, and I dont usually like car suits very much.

Well Actually Mark is now a advertising executive and Jim Taylor is the current Cadillac General Manager. I hate to think of my cars and "cost cutting":crying:.
