New member here. I started a thread and posted in another but haven't gotten an email with the first person replying. I do understand I only get one email reply until I sign in again. My setting is set for instant email reply. What else to I need to do?

Not sure just what you're trying to accomplish with off-site email replies, but I'll copy this to the Admin people for their answer. THAT may take a day or so. You should really use the site PM function and check the Notifications box each time you log in. As your member time and useful posts increase, your PM box gets larger.
If you have not done so, remove your e-mail address from view in any posts - this is a well read worldwide site and some of our "watchers" are absolute scum and scammers.

Not sure if I explained myself correctly. When I just checked my email I saw there was a response to my post. That is something I didn't get before on the other two threads I partook in. As far as off site email replies I'm not sure I know what that means. I guess I did ask the question in the wrong forum since it was
moved. I'm not looking to have my email address in my posts or care about pm's. Either I cleared this up or made us both more confused.:)

E-mail is your ??? g-mail ??? personal account. An active member here could swamp his personal mailbox in a hurry ! As you learn the site you'll be able to recognize what the various icons and their colors mean as far as whether or not you have seen, read, posted, or received replies in any thread.
OUR "e-mail" is the insite Personal Message (PM) ability. The Notifications tab up toward the top right. You will have severe message quantity limits for some period - it will gradually allow more and more messaging, but a trick is to clear your mailboxes frequently.
