The early cars are due to hit showrooms in October, at least that is the current estimate. The orders can be placed the 4th, the first production scheduling will be the last week of August. Since there is generally a six week turnaround time, the timeframe will be October, not September. Sorry.

That is the indication on the production numbers. Harry, we are being told that the XLR-V will follow a similar allocation formula, and it is expected to be in showrooms in November/December time frame. I will keep you posted on that.

I agree but its probably a good thing. No one really knows for sure how this thing is going to fly. Its probably a good idea to start off with a moderate number and go up from there if necessary.

But only 1600 units does not give me a lot of time to make a decision on the car I would think.

the brakes the STS V get on we have it already on our german export model.
As you can see it on pics I´ve posted here the europe STS (only the V8) got the brakes and wheels of the CTS V on it. Only with 255 tires all around, not 245s as the CTS V got on.
469 horses sounds real good to me, that makes in german rating about 475.

My XLR has in US rating 320 but here it`s 326, some with the northstar STS.

Hi Brett, good info and I´m glad the car get`s a 180 mph speedo in it, not as shown in the eary pictures the 160 mph speedo.
My XLR already would need a bigger one because it stops at 260 kph, only HUD goes up to 278 kph.

They are GMS eligible, however it is up to the dealer whether they sell at the GMS price or not.
