I think you would need at least 400rwhp for that to be bad ass. In other words I think it looks awesome!

:hmm: I prefer the current conservative look. No offense, but a little "2 Fast 2 Furious" Saturday "add-on" looking.

i was thinking more like the entire bumper cover replacement.. You probably cant tell from the pic, but I added that part from an m5... I dont know what that is called, maybe a diffuser?...................................

but a lot of cars seem to have that design for the back bumper

here is a g35 coupe...

Frankly, I don't think it looks bad, but the whole four-pipe thing is getting to be a bit of a yawn these days. The baboon-butt look with the ridge in the bumper and the four pipes sticking out is one visual aspect of my M5 that I've never developed a big fondness for.

Though I'm going down the road with my wife yesterday on my way to breakfast, and closing up on an attractive gray wagon, and getting a little closer it's evident that it's a Benz, but something's not quite right, and then - hey, it's got four pipes! It's an E55 wagon! I'm hopping up and down like a six-year-old, pointing, "Hon, it's an E55, that's gorgeous" and she's on the phone with a friend doing her best to pretend I don't exist.

The exterior driver's door handle assembly on her '98 540i fell out in protest. Doesn't look like anything broke, but I'll have to pull the inside door trim to find out. I have to remind myself every now and then, that car is eight years old now...

How about this? I smoothed the bumper a bit and took out that large protrusion that added (IMO) the boy racer look. The only other design issue is that the top line of the diffuser opening is the only horizontal line on the back of the car, but this is not terrible. This was a ten minute photoshop job, I could smooth the image a bit more if anyone would like me to.:coolgleam

you think 4 pipes are yawn these days? Well, i guess.. I really wouldnt know I just dont see them much where I live.. Ive always seen them on pics of the m5 and m5, E55amg and maximas, and a few other cars.. I just thought maybe its the new thing.. I thought it looked more agressive with 4.. The ridge I didnt want, but I didnt know how to get rid of it.. I know it would look better smooth..

Now I like that much better.. You seem to be good with editing.. I would definatly like to do something like this to the rear end of the V.. I just dont think the 2 bar outlines at the back do much for the back end of this car.. Hey, maybe you could get rid of the 4 tail pipes.. But ill to do it meanwhile (you can do it if my one sucks).

I like version 2.0 better. The first one looks good from the back, but it looks like the "lip" would stick out from a side view. Not too shabby, but for my money, a wide-body kit would get the nod (ala CTS-VR).

okay, i tried to make it one tail pipe on each side, and I cant figure out how to make it look good.. I suck at it.

I will take a picture of the back of my car and see what I can come up with. I will draw a few different diffuser designs and try each with two and four tailpipes. Of course my V will look better and faster because it is stealth gray and not run-of-the-mill black or silver (You may call it "platinum", but it's time to face facts).;) And yes Rob, I think my V is faster. Bring yours to Indy and I will show you. :nyanya:

sweet, work your magic! And I think it would look great on your color..

If it looks good, I might ask around and see how much it would cost to get somthing like it done.. or if someone here beats me to the punch and mass produces it that would be okay too..

The four pipe setup would be alright. IMO, the Cadillac is a classy car so boy racer or even too much muscle car attitude do not fit well with its style. Lips and bumps and strange taillights don't work. However, as we have seen with the Escalade, you can really add something to this car by going bling bling with the rims. :coolgleam :bling:

What do you think of this idea? Why not copy the exhaust pipe setup of this classy car?

How about leaving the stock V rear bumper, but with 4 exhausts.. Does it look more agressive?
