: Looking for a CTS-V Exhaust (Atlanta)

07-09-05, 09:00 PM
I another one of those pests form the CTS forum looking for a discarded stock CTS-V exhaust. One good idea and we all come running. If anyone is looking to part with one from the Atlanta area, let me know. Thanks!

Wow, thanks for the replies, well worth the bump. Unfortunately, the problem with these is the shipping. There's just no way to do it without cutting it up and you really don't want to cut them up. But, if you hear of any in Atlanta, I'm just patiently waiting.....

13,000. And I think 75 is a little low. Sorry.

Just checking back.....Anyone got one in Atlanta yet? Are there any V people in Atlanta? I rarely see any....

09-12-05, 12:10 PM
Got one in Birmingham! 120 miles from you

Ping me in about a month of two if you don't have one yet. I'm in NC.

Unfortunately, I don't have a way to get it from Birmingham. What people have been doing is just having the swap done on the CTS at the same place that installed the new system on the V. Cutting these up and shipping them is not an option. My only other thought is that if you have a shop there that can do the swap, I could drive in and get it done. Is yours still at the shop or would you have a way to get it there?

Its still at the cadillac dealer, they could do it for you! Let me know if you are interested.

Forgot to tell you but the exaust is brand new. I replaced the exaust before I took delivery.

Do you know if the dealer would be willing to do the install at all? And if so, for a reasonable price? It seems most people are getting it done for about $75-$125. And are you in the holiday spirit as far as parting with it? :yup:

Actually you see them go from free to $100. I paid $30 for mine from CTSV05 in Newark Ohio. Doug even offered to help me put it on. Great guy! Some guys just want to get the damn thing out of their garage. Some leave them at the muffler shop as salvage. IMO @ $75, you should jump on it.:yup:

I missed your post yesterday that the dealer would do the swap. E-mail me at thefredone@mindspring.com.
