so I'm looking to dynamat the trunk (not so much for the "sub" back there, but for the B&B noise)

Is the typical "trunk" package at 20 sq ft enough?
You heard of this Cascade stuff?
(it's only 15 sq ft)

Urby -

A trunk kit is usuall enough...because, at least in my experience, you aren't going to line the entire trunk with the stuff (unless you really want to add a couple of hundred lbs to the car). You just want to line key areas :)

how about this edead stuff?
looks like it kicks ass....40 sq ft for under 60 bux, double it up and be ridin nice and quiet :D

You might want to do the area under the rear seat also.

The factory stuff leaves a lot to be desired there.

I think they're all about the same in terms of sound deadening...however, ease of installation is important too. Good quality adhesive backer and pliable when heated matter to me - and will you too when you go for it. Remember not to overdo it. You don't have to cover every square inch of bare metal to get decent results....

I'd buy what you can locally to save on shipping...the heavy stuff co$t$ to $hip.

Urby, I've got 10 sheets of Dynomat extreme. You can use what you need if you wanna drive out here to God's country and get it!

Urby is far too fearful of the F/I V's on the West Coast to even consider it :Poke:

Besides, as slow as his V is :brutal: it would take him weeks to get here :want:

After riding in either of our V's he'd have to throw a Maggie on the front just to counterbalance the load of asphalt he's trying to put in his trunk :drinker

I love you, Urby, really :lies:

naw it would be mighty hard to drive out there

Please let us know. I've been curious about the liquid coatings and how easy they apply. Also wonder if there is any unpleasant smell that remains when finished...
