Hey everyone!
Im a newbie, just got my V on the 19th of June.
Been enjoying it...sort of. 1st to 4th caught me out a few times so I read up and made the mod myself.
Heres how...
#1 Gather up your stuff.
Items are listed on the FAQ site. (Thanks to the kind chap who runs that BTW.)
I got the GM connector (plastic parts), the pins and the rubber plugs at NAPA. They had the stuff in stock and the dude said it was pretty common stuff. Then off to Radio Shack for the resisitor, some heat shirnk tubing that is big enough to go over the plastic connector you got at NAPA, you have to search for this...and then home to raid my wifes craft cabinet for a hot glue gun.

#2. Read the FAQ instructions. Pretty simple and straight forward. Put your little doo hicky together. Now here comes my special little touch...
Slide the heat shrink tube over the plastic connector with the resistor leaving about 1/2" of tubing beyond the resistor. Use a match or lighter to shrink the tubing... Once you have it most of the way shrunk, get the hot glue gun and fill the top end of the connector where the resistor is with glue. Once the glue has cooled. Go ahead and shrink the heck out of the tubing and there you go! Water tight, weather proof. Get under the car and slap that sucker on there... should look something like this...

I used the rubber bits I got at NAPA to fill the holes left in the connector on the selenoid end of the tranny to keep the water out.
