I like Mercury beatin' Acura, Honda & BMW !!!! GO MERCURY !!!

Then again, what's it all really mean, anyhow?

Take Oldsmobile. They came in at #19, but beat out 21 other makes, even besting Volvo, Mercedes, Saab, Jaguar, Nissan, Jeep, Audi and even the lofty Isuzu !!

So.... Where's Olds NOW ?? :hmm:

I can't beleive Porsche is #2! No wonder they cost so damn much...

Well, that's good news for domestics (GM in particular). I bet there's even less problems with the newest models out now..

:lies: HOW DID KIA COME LAST?

theres no way in hell daewoo beat kia. the daewoo is the worst car ever. any daewoo makes a taurus look good, and they suck. the kia i have is the best most reliable car. 130k and only a few problems. this is pure bs.

Impressive. BMW Came out ahead of alot of luxury brands and MB is an absolute disaster. Kinda what Ive been saying for a while.

I dont know if I believe Porsche being number 2... Likewise Im not sure I believe Hyundai being at 260... there is not much in those cars to break to begin with. My moms had 0 problems outside of a bad window motor and a fouled spark plug in its 5 year existence, and she has beat the piss out of that car.

"The list ranks vehicle brands by the problems their owners reported per 100 vehicles." Does this include people considering the car as being lousy as a problem?

I find it odd that no matter what you buy the odds are %100 that something will go wrong with it.

if you count "why the hell did i buy this car" as a problem, than kia deserves to be there

I'd love to see a breakdown of the problems, maybe major and minor at least?

A few years ago, I had a Buick Regal and Acura TL in the family. Both had service recalls within 2 weeks of each other. The Regal was recall due to a faulty headlamp switch, and the Acura was recalled due to a tranny issue that required alot more work then the Buick's. But in these tests, both would have an equivalent effect.

As a consumer, I really wanna see this.

I also want to see things like this. The cars that have lasted the longest in my family have been Buicks, Oldsmobiles, and Cadillacs. Our Jeep is still up there *BUT* it has broken down so many times, its disgusting.
