Thx MADABBY0101 06-29-05, 10:43 PM Better safe than sorry, leave it to the pros:p . vietfob714 07-01-05, 04:58 PM I've seen some of the work the "pros" do and I dont trust them. I've done a lot of cars but nothing as high end as a caddy. I just wanted to see if anyone had found out a way to do it. Would have made it easier for me. But I guess its back to trial and error. fast66 07-01-05, 10:33 PM If you wan tto just take off the door panels, you will find two lugnuts one under the arm and the other in the bottom corner maybe. then it shoudl slip up after the and clip off. Reverse process to put them back on. Stereo: put car in 1st, snap off all of black deck with wood on it, then the unit should come out with clips on the side, it is liek that in my 02. fast66 07-01-05, 10:35 PM its reeal easy just make sure you find everything and remeber where it goes. its easier than it looks. Also you could change the fabric lining on the door if you wanted to. vietfob714 07-02-05, 04:26 PM thank you very much i'll try it tonight suckit 07-02-05, 05:24 PM is 714 socal FOB? fast66 07-02-05, 05:35 PM okay vietfob714 07-02-05, 07:04 PM yeah i'm from huntington beach, ca nickc280 07-05-05, 03:47 AM I'm wondering the same thing???? vietfob714 07-05-05, 01:13 PM Its very easy the headunit just take the console out its all clips. Then unscrew the headunit. The doors are two screws holding it in. Take the locking mechanism out and unscrew that. Lift the door up and its out. | |
