OK, I'm going to order one for my '05.........all the places that sell them on the net only show up to '04. I'm assuming this will also fit the '05. Am I correct?

Would the people who have installed this unit comment on their opinion of it? Also, does it increase engine noise? The Corsa system I recently installed is pretty obnoxious at low rpm's..........kinda gets on my nerves. Don't want to add any more noise if possible but want the extra gas mileage the Volant offers.........LMK.

the increased noise is only noticeable during hard acceleration

With a high performance intake and your Corsa exhaust you will probably see your mileage get worse because you will tend to drive it harder. The "Oiled Fabric" intakes are louder. Sound increases under acceleration.

i think my mileage has gotten slightly better, maybe 2 mpg increase. lately the air conditioning is on alot and i still fill up at 330 to 350 miles on the trip odo. Robert is right, i do tend to drive it a bit harder. i'd like to get a V, corsa or borla exhaust if i can find a good deal. hell, i'll even settle for the 3.6 exhaust. mine is the single.

Bozzman,
Thought of starting a thread for a 3.6 exhaust take off in the Ohio area? Either guys like me who went to the V exhaust or Corsa/Borla? Could be next to free.

Here's a suggestion...Look in the V-Exhaust thread, the one with the 5 star rating...I posted a sound clip of my 3.6 with Magnaflow....I know you have Corsa, which is QUIETER than my set up...But my set up also has the Volant and it does give it that throaty sound...the volant won't add that much extra noise....Gas mileage...I'm still up in the air with that...it is really really really hard to drive under 80. I guess I average about 21 mpg and about 12-14 in the city

You should really only notice it under medium to heavy throttle. But it's true that your first tank of gas after you put the intake on, you'll probably get the same, if not worse, mileage just because the sound is so intoxicating and you'll be gunning it harder just to hear it. My mileage has increased 2-3mpg solid.

I drive almost 1,000 miles per week in my business so gas mileage is my main concern. My Corsa system is going back to the dealership because of frame vibration that drives me nuts. I'm going to get the Volant either way now. My son just got the Superchips unit for his Mustang and after driving it today I have to say that this unit made a BIG difference in performance. He said there isn't one yet for the CTS, only the V model. I would love to add this performance to my Caddy.........they WORK man.
