Yesterday I was driving down near sandy hook i just dropped off this girl i was hanging out with for the night it was maybe 11:30 (im 17 i gotta be in by 12 state law with a provisional lisence) and i was stopped at a red light all of a sudden a bentley contenental pulls up next to me at the stoplight, I looked over at him i revved my engine he looked at me and smiled ( i think he thought i was pretty cute haha just amusing myself) well then he reved his engine so the light turned greens i knew i was about to get my ass kicked by a bentley but thats cool dcause its a bentley so i hit the gas and took off. I looked at his car to see where he was and the guy bitched out he dident race me i was so hyped up for it and he ended up doing nothing o well i hoped you enjoed the story.

GT 40 is cool. I see they are making those again. They still look great!

It's even nicer in person. Not to hijack anyone's thread, but they also had a Vanquish, 2 Lotus Elises, I think 5-6 Bentley GT's, Rolls Royce, and a Bentley Arnage.

If you can afford to drive a Bentley, you don't need to race a 17 year old kid to prove a point.

At first I thought this was gonna be another SC V beating a Bentley, and I was like WTF is a 17 year old driving a V for. But I see it's a 2.8 so I'm not jealous anymore lol.

Same thing happened to me, I revved it next to some NICE Nova with a BIG cam that I later learned turns low 10s at the dragstrip. He smiled and waved but didn't even bother going for it. I'm kinda glad he didn't although I'd have like to seen that beast in action even though I'd have gotten my ass handed to me.

That's a little weak, don't ya think? Same with the Bentley owner. If he didn't wanna race, he shouldn't have revved. Or he could have still revved but waved his hand and shook his head.

I've raced a 911 turbo in my CTS before. And V's get their asses handed to them by new 911 turbo's. I've raced a Kia Sephia in my truck. Same deal. To me, it's about that quick safe race. I could be driving an SL500 and come up on a tuned SRT-4 Neon that I know will work me good, but I'm still goin' for it!

Sometimes its a tease to get you to act like an idiot. He fooled you and enjoyed the moment. Have you seen the GTO commercial on TV where the guy waits thru a green light for a red light hoping somebody pulls up to race? :D

U never know who will miss a gear or who as 20 grand worth of work in thier geo metro.. its about the thrill....... shiti raced a hooked up CRX on 280 the other day it was fun, i beat him from a roll starting at 60 then a top end run he took me cause i shut her down at 135, and he kept going to 145... all fun and games

Hey Franchise I was driving my CTS near Sandy Hook and I ran into a black Bently GT, I also was messing with him but we did not run, you by any chance live in the Los Angeles area maybe it was the same dude.

280...you in NorCal? Anyhow, if it's safe, I'll line em up and run em, doesn't matter if it's a Nova with a 454 (which my friend has btw ;)) or a Mazda 3...just for example. It's all in good fun, and we're all auto enthusiasts so we're all on the road for the same thing, we could at least watch out for one another and have some good times.

I raced a Ferrari 360 in my Benz once. It was pretty close for that first foot and a half or so...
