View Full Version : Supporting Member - Time Is Money :hmm: I've read about becoming a supporting member. I didn't realize how inexpensive it is to support this site. It's $25 for six months or $50 for a year. That equates to $4.20 a month or 14 cents a day. Thanks for the wonderfull information provided. With this information, I've saved time, effort and money. I do see more and more members signing up. I've also got a lot of ideas and DIY info here. davesdeville 06-27-05, 11:04 AM I go along for the free ride because I don't have a job. That's also ironically why I spend so much time here in the first place. RobertCTS 06-27-05, 11:18 AM I go along for the free ride because I don't have a job. Yeah, this is my first day actually venturing into the CTS forum. I now see how you're getting all those posts :) You're almost at RALPH LEVEL! I visit the lounge, Seville & Eldo, Kills, Versus, RWD, 500, and Northstar subforums every day. But I've already read all todays posts so here I am checking out the CTS forum..
I'd probably send Sal $25 if I had it. My bank account is right now at $13 and I have $4 in my wallet. :nono: At least my gas tank is full. pjohnesq 06-27-05, 02:45 PM Yep, like Public Radio, some go along for the free ride. My ONLY regret in becoming a member, is not having done it earlier....:D It was actually one of Robert's post that really "made it plain and simple" for me and I immediately became a supporting member.....I should have subscribed much much ealier....Now I don't have to delete my pics so soon anymore..the extra "disk space" is cool!By the way, is this deductible like my Police Athletic League contributions...Just kidding.... odysseus 06-27-05, 03:05 PM Plus you get a cool 'Supporting Member' logo under your name (which is then RED, rather than black). I'm here so much getting advice and ideas, the $$$ is well spent. I'm not sure what else I'd do on the net if this site went down . . . I spend enough time on EBay. LOL RobertCTS 06-27-05, 03:15 PM The other Forum(CaddyEdge) doesn't touch this Forum for useful information.
It's here that I learned about the CTS-V exhaust, cross drilled rotors, and I learned a lot about wheels & tire upgrades. Those alone were worth more than the $25.
Sad, I imagine the only members reading this thread are supporters anyway. davesdeville 06-27-05, 04:51 PM Uh I thought this was CadillacForums... Maybe I've been coming to the wrong place for 2 years? RobertCTS 06-27-05, 06:15 PM Uh I thought this was CadillacForums... Maybe I've been coming to the wrong place for 2 years?
It is a Cadillac Forum Dave. If the thread bothers you, you can elect to avoid it. We're just trying to keep this Forum on line. The expenses incurred are huge. We that can, try to keep it afloat.:yup: Like Public Broadcasting, it's offered free but the operational expenses are not free. I'm not trying to give you a hard time believe me. We appreciate really your participation. Chuck C 06-27-05, 06:19 PM As soon as the bones start rolling in, I will probably contribute some $$ to this great website. I feel like a pioneering member; I've seen this site grow in the last 2.5 years. It's choc full of tips, tricks, and critical info regarding Caddys. It's also a great place to interact with stand-up forum members of all ages and backgrounds. Let's keep it goin! pjohnesq 06-27-05, 06:48 PM Uh I thought this was CadillacForums... It is..misunderstanding that I'm about to clear up...

The misunderstanding is, when Robert posted he was referring to CADDY EDGE forum...HOWEVER, if you type in cadillacforums.com (which by the way, I typed in CADDy EDGE DOT COM), for some reason, when it posts, it READS cadillacforum...I don't know why..it is just weird like that...So basically, Dave, Robert was referrng to Caddy Edge Dot Com. (I had to spell it out because if you type it, it reverts back to cadillacforum (this forum)...How do I know this, cause I see Robert over there also......and I know Caddy Edge Dot Com is not as "fast and active" as this is...so it was just a simple misunderstanding..Hope this clears it up...:) You're almost at RALPH LEVEL!
I heard that! :sneaky:
I have eyes everywhere. :coolgleam
Damn loungers coming over to the CTS forum and disrupting things!!! :rolleyes2
;) Yes, become a supporting member today. BeelzeBob 06-27-05, 09:59 PM Sorry about that, guys.. Yes, we have some text automatically change on occassion. We had some dope blasting the forums with links to other sites and that was one of them. One member tried starting trouble between us and several forums by posting links to HERE on their forums and posts to THERE on our forums.. A big mess..
ANYWAY.. I appreciate everyone who helps out around here. It's really nice to know that I don't have to support the site alone.. Those who cannot afford it are very welcome to stay without supporting us with anything more than their presense.. Not everyone has the extra money and that's just fine. In the end, those who "can" do and it's been a big weight off my shoulders..
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! pjohnesq 06-28-05, 04:15 PM RALPH - how do you insert a pic of your car in your signature????? | |
