I have a 10.5" flipdown for the rear and a 7" power folding on the dashboard in front of the passenger grab handle with feed from the flip down player. This is in my 2004 EXT.

I have the 8" monitors in the head rests instead of the drop down style. We still wanted to be able to use our rearview mirror if someone is watching a movie or playing a game. Need more info on your part if you need help on choseing what is best for you.

It's not bad, but I plan on replacing mine with a 10.2 inch monitor. I had head rest monitors in 1 of my previous vehicles, It's not comfortable for everyone. Besides I play video games and 7-8 inches ain't getting it. What size you get depends on what kind of use you plan on getting out of it. For movies for the kids dvd, vcd, vcr.. I'd probably go with a regular 7' flip down monitor, but for video games and things.. I'd suggest a 10.2 monitor, they do have a serious effect on your vision through your rear veiw monitor. I'm going with the indash monitor in the front.. I already have the PAC adaptors to retain my onstar features. I was going to go with the sunvisors, but I wanted an aftermarket stereo. I just took two (2) birds with one (1) stone. (aftermarket stereo is a must for all of my rides) I own a 2000 FYI

What is the brand of your flipdown I would liek to get one.

I know those XO Vision units have a high definition picture.. I've seen them installed, and the picture quality was outstanding.
