There is a urban legend out there that has been around for a while. About a wife selling her soon to be X-husband sports car for real cheap to teach him a lesson on cheating on her. This sounds just like it but has been updated to the current technology. (Selling it on Ebay)

I agree this is urban legend BS. The car looks like one of those kit cars, where you convert a Fiero to an exotic. That said, I'd love to pick up a Lotus Esprit for a couple thousand $$$$.
