I think those numbers refer to the 2.8 & 3.6 litre v6's available on the CTS.

Awesome. Only 291hp but if you're in the market for HP, buy an STS V8 or V.

That is the fuel economy listed on the website but I don't even see a V6 listed in powertrain options so I assume it's a misprint.

This car will kick ass in its segment. Expect them to sell at least as well as the model it replaces. Not quite the home run the Solstice or Z06 will be, but excellent nonetheless.

I'm pretty sure that part IS true. I remember a while back some people grumbling about how the Touring edition was going to have a REDUCTION in horsepower (as oposed to the 320 HP in the Northstar edition of the new STS)

Exactly, he's pointing out that DTS isn't offering the V6es, so the fuel economy numbers are a mistake.
