Installing avec-n2 pioneer deck what colour is the Vehicle speed sensor? Does anybody know the colour behind the cluster, I was looking at a old thread but someone took out the colour. Thanks By the way 02 ext

For the avic-n1 or avic-n2 you don't need it. The avic refreshes its location quite a bit of times per second. In the past when I have installed these in I rarely hook that wire up and haven't had any issues.

I wanted to add the speed sensor because I wanted to see the speed and vss for the vehicle does anyone know?

I tapped into the trailer backup wire in the fuse panel under the hood.

Hey HotRod and Fast,

In your owners manual you can find the fuse that the trailer backup light uses. It's on the left midway from the top, when facing the fuse panel at the left fender. I think it's a 10 amp fuse. Pop up the fuse panel, put the vehicle in reverse and start probing with a test light. If you can't find it, let me know and I will look at mine and post the wire color.

Seems like there should be something in the gauge cluster. It would make it closer to the radio. I guess going though the fire wall is not a big deal, but don't want the wire to show.
