I'm in a huge fix. . . do I get the sweet deal with GMs Employee Discount for everyone and get that white diamond lade that I've always wanted, or wait for the "nicer interior" "should come out in early 2006" Escalade? Opinions please

My first response to that would be to wait and get the newer model, since the newer model will just make the old one depreciate like crazy... but honestly you can't really say until you see the new one. Even with the upgraded interior, the new one might not look as nice. Personally, if there was enough time, I'd wait for some more pics to come out.

It a personal choice, the 07's will cost more for sure, and there are some good deals right now. :) I would probably wait, but that depends on how bad you need a truck at this time

I have an 03 right now (Green) and I just bought an 05 White Diamond. I to wondered what to do and like so many said to me that are in the car business....(1) you don't know if your going to like the new model. (2) I was told never to buy the first made year, they are always going to change things by the second year out and get the bugs out. (3) From the dealers that I spoke to they aren't sure just when the new ones are going to hit the showrooms.

For me it just wasn't worth passing up the deal I got. I usually get a new truck every 2 to 3 years so in time I will buy the new one anyway (If I like it) and if not then I didn't pass up the deal that I got. If I'm not mistaken since 2002 they had added or taken things away from each year the Escalade was made. Either way good luck....I pick mine up on Sat.....Sami

I went ahead and got an '05 with the discount about a month ago. I actually had a friend of mine that's an engineer for Cadillac get me the employee discount. A week after I got mine, GM came out with "everyone gets the discount". I was actually bummed that everyone else got the discount too since it essentially took the resale value down on all of them.
