no the offer still stands. 500 bucks includes rims and tires which are wrapped in plastic. i was hoping to find someone near my house in san dimas california so they could just come over hand me the cash and that will be that. i dont have pay pal or anything like that so if i have to ship them its gets more complicated than i would like it to be. im not sure how the tansaction would take place. i know the price is very generous just looking to unload them and help somebody out. chime in if you guys have any suggestions or pm. i cleared out my box.

also one of them is slighty scratched, like that when i got home from the dealer, and i didnt notice it. just want to be honest and let everyone know whats up. these are the factory wheels with the stock f1s on them. the scratch is very minor i could not have been done by a curb cause the damage is way to minor. im thinkin maybe the chains on the transport truck or something like that.

Just to set the record straight, you can get the wheels at gmparts direct for $356 per or a set of 4 for approx $1150 plus shipping; tires are anywhere from $275-$320 per, but most dislikje the runflats.

A little disappointing if true . . . although I wouldn't blame him for backing down on $500, it would have been nice to let the guys fight it out here (or via email, like I tried to).

Although they sound the same, I don't think they are. mj23 is from Cali, or was, and didn't have Paypal the last I talked to him.

Absolutely agree, sellers market; but would have been nice to allow someone on here first dibs (if these are the same). I realize the geography and paypal difference but the 1K miles and one having monor scratch spounded very familiar, coupled with the fact that he never responded to my emails or posted that they were sold - if he sold them, I would think he would have emailed me and posted that he sold them. Again, I wouldn't hold it against him for wanting more cash (I actually responded toi his post asking what they are worth and essentially told him a lot more that what he was asking), but it would be nice if he would have let me/us know what the deal was.

Just to let you guys know, I bought them and they will be here Tuesday..

Money is money after all and we ended up doing the $1000.00 shipped that I offered him.

What is this, payback for the FG2s?

I had talked directly to him last Monday. The issue was getting them out of his house and shipped. I don't mind that the price went up, but I would've paid more than $1000 shipped for them. My problem is that I am going to be at Putnam Park in 3 weeks and need wheels for the Hoosiers. I'm ready to pay $1400 for stockers at GMPD. I would've paid that amount to Shawn and sold the F1s for at least $500 and still be doing OK.

In our dialogue I assumed that if he changed his mind, I'd be told. I was actually worried that he got me confused with you when he said you had a PM. I guess I never had a chance. Now, I guess I'm going elsewhere.

I just needed 2 more stock wheels with good factory rubber for spares if I ever have to bring her to the dealer. I am going to be getting some Nitto Drag radials for the times when I bring her to the track...

If you are talking about the wheels, they are 6 lug, you CTS is only 5 lug. If you are talking about the shocks then yes they will fit on a CTS too.

I bought a set of stockers on eBay last week. They're supposedly in great condition and I should be getting them this week. I'm looking to replace two of my wheels that have curb rash on them (had the damage when I bought the car used).

I will have three wheels for sale after I switch out two of them and keep one for a future spare. I'll be sure to post up when they're available. I'm hoping that the seller is being honest about the condition.
