Well took the 89 d'Elegance in where I usually get my cars fixed and they can not figure out where the coolent is going to. Said could be head gasket however I have no signs of that (white smoke from exhaust, coolent mixing with oil, or anything) had it running for hours and couldnt get it to overheat so I had them flush it out and put new coolent and some leak finder stuff in there hopefully it will be ok now. Said it also may be an intake gasket. Thing rides great if it would just keep the coolent in there.

Are you seeing little coolant puddles under the car when it is parked after a drive???

Do you smell any coolant burning? That sweet smell?

If not, pull the spark plugs and look for coolant on the plugs.

I can't find any good pictures of it, but when you see antifreeze on a spark plug, it looks like little sparkle dots. Very small, you need to look closely.
