Heard this from a mechanic & dealer I know:

Cad is going to introduce an engine that uses LASERS to replace spark plug wires, or go all the way and use lasers to ignite the fuel stream.

Discuss? Opinions?

They've already gotten rid of Spark plug wires in a lot of cars. Cadillac is probably now just adopting it.
