Anyone know if there is a way to defeat the DRL's? (Besides getting a '95!) Just can't stand running around with the lights on all the time...

Also, what is required to install a (used) OEM radio in this year model? Does it require VIN re-learn programming?

Thanks!

Again, why the problem with the DRL's? Is it because you go to drive ins?

See if this is of any help. http://cadillacforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=199142&postcount=1

(Personally, I am not fond of DRLs myself, especially on a car with Twilight Sentinel. Just seems redundant.)

DaveSmed-

Thanks for the link(s)..... I'll be looking into that very soon.

Like you said, DRL's on a car with Twilight Sentinel is pointless. I'm sure there's a benefit of having your customer base leaving out from the early bird specials at dusk with their lights on...

Personally, I like to drive in the late afternoon with just my parking lamps on (it looks cool, right???), but I do know when the headlights are needed and would just prefer the car not decide for me. It also helps to sneak in late at night when you can kill the lights just as you coast in.... but that's another story.

I do frequent drive-in's, as I'm in close proximity to a couple of them. However, those outings are reserved for my (vintage) hearse......

Info on DRL's. You can look into this to easily defeat or put a toggle switch in to trigger them.
