Does anyone know if there are any printed Cadillac owner-type magazines available? I get a magazine for everything else so why not one for my car.

Thanks

Cadillac use to mail out a quarterly magazine but stopped a few years ago. It was a good magazine. All I get now is the OnStar Magazine.

That's the name of the magazine but I don't think it's published anymore. I used to get it. Here's the link;

My Dad is still getting them every 4 months or so from when he bought his new DTS.

I got them for about a year after purchasing my 2001 Eldorado. Then it stopped. I would pay but I see no info on how you might do that. You might get one of your Dad's copy and see if there is any subscription info in it? I just sent Vision an e-mail.

Here is the last one I got from him and he bought the car in Feb. 2003, but I would HOPE they are still being published!!! I'll ask him next time. Maybe you can ask for them at the dealership?

Last time I received Vision was Fall of 04. There is an address for letters from VISION readers to write to at "1633 Broadway, 40th Floor, NY NY 10019. Additionally, on the publisher's page there is some information regarding the publisher -- Hachette Filipacchi Custom Publishing. There are no telephone numbers, but there is a web site listed at http://www.hfmus.com (http://www.hfmus.com/).

Did you ask if you can get a complementary copy mailed?

I used to be able to do that on our website but NOW I don't see that option!!! :hmm:

I got my e-mail reply from Cadillac. It sounds like I may start getting it. Here's the reply:

Dear Mr. Martin,

Thank you for contacting the Cadillac Customer Assistance Center. I appreciate you taking the time to write us in regards to Vision Magazine.

As an owner you will receive the magazine once a new one is available. At this time we are not sure when the new magazine will be available. As these magazines are automatically sent to owners there is no subscription available. I apologize for any inconvenience.

I have documented this information in Service Request Number 1-341025719. If you should need to contact us in the future, simply reply to this message or call our Cadillac Customer Assistance Center at 1-800-458-8006. Customer Relationship Managers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Again, thank you for contacting Cadillac.

Sincerely,

Kellee Rigdon

I emailed the assistant publisher yesterday. Below is the paste from his reply:

Ed,

So sorry but the magazine is not being published at the moment. Not sure of its future either, but it might make a comeback one day!!

Steve
Oh well, maybe one day. But with the troubles at GM (lay-offs, etc.) I don't think we will see any freebies for quite a while.

Even if you could at least get one issue, it would be allright.

I talked to the Caddy owership group today about the Vision mag. The last one printed was in Oct. 2004 and the one before that was about years before the '04 mag. Of course I got the same reply as everyone else in this forum - we have put you on a list for the next issue of Vision however w do not know when if and when we will have other issue.

The Cadillac Owner Center sent me a web based mag 3 days ago that some of you may also get. I think this is the closest thing they have to a magazine. It was actually pretty good. Mine came in after I contacted them when I had trouble getting my VIN on listed on the My Cadillac web site for electronic notices, warranty-service info, etc. There may be a way to select to recieve it and you have to open an account and use your VIN. I think they did for me.

Do you have a link to the web based magazine that you get?:hmm:
I went to the Cadillac Owner Center but that seems to be an extention of "My GMLink" I saw no opportunity to view what you're talking about. Got some help?

Try this one.

This is not the actual news letter I recieved but a link within the page. The original link was an email and goes to your default email if you copy it. I have a network guy in my office that thinks you might be able back track thru the site.

The original email won't work. I tried it and it defaults back my email server.

I'll email GM and see where I can find this web page and get back to you.

just read the small print. You have to subscribe to receive the Bi-monthly email newsletter at the Owners Center on the My GM Link website. If you already have an account you should be able to subscribe or open an account. Can't give the directions for that until I get home today but it's straight forward. I do recall the site asking for your VIN for full membership upgrades and it's free.

After reading the small print it looks like you have to have full membership by adding your VIN. At that point I would email the MY GM Link site and ask to be added to the mailing list. I had my VIN in there before but never receive the newsletter. I tried to get the link but it's emailed based so it didn't work. BTW, the membership is free, just need to add your VIN. Again I think they did for me when I was on the phone with them.

The Ownership Customer service number is 866-694-6546

i found it. If you have an account on My GM Link, go to >my profile and check to have it emailed to you. I guess you need an account first to get. It's free.
