I can't believe anybody would buy a Kia. Compared even to Hyundai, their quality is "not good."

Agreed.....I read a quote by Kia's North American CEO that said something like "Hyundai is to mercedes as Kia is to BMW....we are the sports luxury brand..."

........yeah, uh huh.....

More like KIA is the KIA of Korean cars. ;)

But they are getting better.

Here you go Adam, you can still buy that Mustang and no one should laugh. :D .....

"The male driver of a V6-powered Mustang, with its 210-horsepower engine, clearly has "enough" power. Probably more than enough."

Don't forget the next line though..."But when stopped at a red light next to a four-lighted 300-horsepower Mustang GT it is immediately obvious to everyone that the other driver has "more."".........and since these cars are extensions of your pen1s.....you wouldn;t wanna drive around in something that says "I'm packing less!" :-)

On the male listing above, I'll chose #6 and never again want any other car. #6 would complete my lifelong automotive dream, but mine priced out on KBB come to $100,000 no $69,000.

Nice choice!

I've been wantin one of those for a long time.....2001 or newer with nav...trades around 40K on eBay.

Maybe by the time the new XK's come around on the used car market, I'll be in a position to 'think about' buying one.

BTW I always thought these XK's would be a girly choice! :-)

This is Boombotz's wife again and I can honestly say that I wouldn't drive any of those cars listed. My choices

1st- Escalade
2nd- Hummer
3rd- Corvette convertable(only if didn't have my daughter)
4th- Always like the mitsubishi 3000 Gt
5th- Like the Mustang Convertable GT(if money was tight)

There are just some of the ones I know I wouldn't mind driving. I really couldn't see me having a problem in any of the BMW's or Mercedes some of those are real sweet.

But, if it's PRINTED in an article, its gotta be true??? :tisk: :D

I would prefer a GT, but considering the new V6 is almost as powerful as the older GT in your family, it's pretty impressive, except the torque, but not too shabby.

The only one there that would be in my top 10 choices would be the BMW 6 Series coupe. And that would place about 8th. My top 5 would look somethin like this:

1. 1992 Ferrari Testarossa
2. 2005 Bentley Arnage Drophead Coupe
3. 2006 Cadillac STS-V
4. 2005 Mustang Saleen S281 E Coupe
5. 1988 Lamborghini Countach

.....hmm a Caddy and a Mustang comes before the Lambo......oh wait its a 88', but still.....

As long as we're fantasizing might as well throw in some Bizzarrini's and McLarens, Bugatti's and such....

Speaking of which, anyone see that new Bugatti EB, 1100 HP AWD monster?!

Ralph

I'll take this if it becomes the next Lambo...

Also if money was no object, the Bently Continental GT.

The Volvo XC70 is the only decent car on the ladies list. All the guys cars are nice but still no Caddy on the list. If money was no object for me I'd buy 51% of GM shares and sell myself a quad turbo Sixteen.

The beauty of that particular site is that it is run by a bunch of engineers and their designs are up there even before they become concepts in some cases. So the cars shown have a pretty good chance of going into production as you see them there.

It was linked from here.....

Looks like the men are dreamers, and the women are practical.

(I just read the article, and they almost say that.)

There is also good news in there for GM. Women like Pontiacs. Or is being the GM chick division the mark of death for Pontiac?

Actually, that might not be a bad thing for GM to have a chick car division. I always thought of Saturn as the chick car division though, which is surprising that they don't show up on the chick list.

Amazes me that people actually believe that these lists have NOTHING whatsoever to do with advertising.

A Kia? Really?

Toss the lambo out and replace it with a ZR-1 vette.

The original list was more like a top 20 list of woman's cars. Well maybe the ford GT would fall on the mans side.
