: Autoguide.com paid app

I've been using the paid version of the autoguide.com application that has an optional signature that tags your mobile posts with the same line you will see once this is posted.

The issue is I've disabled this signature countless times and each time the app is re opened it automatically re-enables. The app suggests that the forum admin can override this setting.

I formally request that this signature be forced to be disabled as it's annoying to see all the time.

I want to say that the tapatalk signature was disabled by the admin as well.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm testing the app now to see if I have the same issue. The app should remember your settings and not revert.

It seems that the app remembers the setting only for the duration of the time the app is running. Should iOS kill it off in the background the setting is reverted to ON, or if you reboot your phone / it dies when it comes back up it is also reverted to ON again.

I turned off my setting then closed the app. Then posted on the forum but the app seems to have reverted back and added the signature to my post. I'll report the issue to the techs.

Ludacrisvp, can you confirm if you're on an iPhone or Android? I'm going to see about getting a build ASAP from our developers to resolve this issue.

iPhone 5s iOS 7.0.4
And
iPhone 4 iOS 6.1.2

It behaves the same way on both devices.

Thanks. This helps, I'll get the request over. We have a new build coming that should resolve that issue anyway, but I'll see if I can expedite it. If you had been on Android I could have given you an updated app while we wait (iPhone we can't though, Apple locks that down).

The Apple store won't accept new apps over holidays so expect this to hit the app store and be fixed by early January.

Will they also be updating to the iOS 7 keyboard in the update?
(Since the app still uses the old grey keyboard, not the new white / translucent one)

Well the app was updated a while ago. Still has the same bug.

App was updated again recently and now it adds several lines between your comment and the advertisement.
I find it really annoying.

I ended up modifying the app's configuration files manually using iFile on the phone to tell it that this site has disabled them so now I think that should take care of it until the next app update or if i use my other phone where I've not adjusted the file.

Thanks for the information.

If you do have concerns about the app, please use the app store to review it, and state suggestion.

I did submit an app review via the app store months ago ... it didn't help.
