today i am getting my UUC shifter installed...
as well as changeing oil, tranny and diff fluid at 2,600 miles...
I hope this makes a nice change and great protection!

They are also checking my headlamp washers to see whta the hell is happening!
I told them if the find nothing they better pull out the rely and disconnect the bitches...
If they go on again I will flip the shit!!! My sun roof is also making weird whiny nooise at open/close... Hope it just needs an oiling and not a bad motor...

ok.. just want to share...

Its those little things (hell, sometimes big things, ie diffs) that I worry about with GM quality. My BMW had one problem in 3.5 years...a speaker got a little loose and rattled, but then I turn it up like a drunk teenager. I admit I may have been lucky with the beemer and might get flamed for doubting GM quality. We have a H2 also and no problems but its not even a year old. First American cars I've bought in my life, just hope I'm not dissapointed by little issues etc. Glad to be helping GM out and love the passion shown for the V on this site. I should take delivery by next week and everytime I get on this board, I get more excited!

Consider yourself lucky. I traded a 2001 Audi S4 in on the V and have not looked back. The S4 was nothing but trouble and was in for oil leaks at least twice a month. Audi refused to honor the warranty due to folks out there that have abused it. I loved driving the car, but i just couldn't keep up with it - especially once the warranty wore off. I'll be steering clear of Audis in the future.

I'm quite pleased with the quality of the V, I hope to have it for a long time. Heck my Contour SVT w/ 120k miles is still running strong, only had to replace a fuel pump so far.
