I started an internet search, I looked on this site as well, but I am still need some information. I by-passed the key portion of the VATS system in my mom's 91 DeVille but the system seems to be going down hill. The car has been ridden REALY HARD and is not worth much but it does still run.... when it feels like starting. I want to by-pass the the entire VATS module but need to have more information about the wiring and what each lead does. So far I have identified 4 of the wires but have no clue about the rest (I think 7 total). I have also found the "solenoid enable relay" so that part will not be a problem. I just want to make sure I can by-pass the rest of the functions so the car will start and run. For those worried about making this car a theft target, do not worry. It is trashed but mobile with the interior beat and 330,000+ on the clock. Thus I need a cheap fix to the issue at hand. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. I will continue my internet search but it is starting to look like that will be a days long search.
