Rear passenger window was rolled down with driver's control. Window motor works fine. However, when I tried to roll it up, I was unable to do so with neither the driver's control or the independent window control in the rear passenger door.

Symptomatic of a bad switch contact? Any thoughts welcomed.

Thanks!

It could be a broken switch but if neither of them work it might also be a broken wire somewhere. It's probably a lot easier to just take the switches out to see if they're good first and then to start trying to figure out if there's a bad wire somewhere.

The best spot to look for a Cad this age is the drivers door, where it attaches
to the hindges there is a rubber tube that hold all the wires from the door
switches and accessories and enters into the side of the car.
Cut the rubber open and look inside, you will find the broken wire here. Be prepared
you will probably find other wires not to far behind from breaking off.
Seen this before and this is common for the amount the door opens and closes.
