View Full Version : STS V8 Europe Edition Delivery Time Patrickbk 06-06-05, 04:44 PM My dealer is not the biggest help, but the official importer for europe.
Does anyone knows how to find out when my car will be delivered?
The only information i get is, wait for manufactures information.
I got
DE066000298
this number from Kroymanns in Germany as disposition number.
Any ideas?
Patrick LittleNo 06-06-05, 06:06 PM hi neighbor :welcome:
wann hastn denn bestellt?
oh sorry :hide: when did you ordered it? i think we should write in english, that our american friends can understand us :p - but i belive they have no answer for you, cause Kroymans has nothing to do with the dealership system inside the US With the tracking # all they can do is tell you when it was last scaned in and shipped. Mine was last scaned on 4/18/05 and was suppost to be delieved on 4/29/05 but was not delievered untill 5/14/05. They do not scan the vehicle when they are actually in transit. Sorry Patrickbk 06-07-05, 02:45 AM so, at all no way to find out if the car is already produced yet or not.
bad luck - the dealer is not able to give me a delivery time.

Hi da thrilla, I don`t understand patrick because my dealer got his first, the moonstone/casmere in last friday. It is fully equipped only no moonroof.
I could buy this car tomorow if I want to.
My dealer here showed me the list of the cars which already in Rotterdam and you can pick on of them right away. Takes about 2 weeks till they arrive at the dealer.
So I realy don`t understand:hmm:
Thanks, and have a nice sunday
Harry Patrickbk 06-12-05, 05:31 PM Wow, why is kroymans in Düsseldorf so slow?
They also got two out of the first delievery - but told me, they are already sold.
At Kroymans in Netherlands they tell me - Düsseldorf will help and knows everything.
(For Harry - It is Bäsler himself who said he will help me)
So, next time i buy direct in NL or in Wuerzburg.

Hi Patrick, in NL it`s too expensive:rolleyes: As far as I know they have in Duesseldorf two STS V 6 in launch edition, one is black/ebony the other one black/cashmere.
It´s interesting for me to see when you get your car:helpless:

Hi Pat,
I just posted 3 good pics of the moonstone/cashmere V8 - take a look, it looks similar to the black-raven you`ll get.

Thanks!
Hi Loadtoad, from my experience with GM cars here in Germany I just can say the best. I drive GM cars since 1971, my first car was a Camaro 350 - 4 Speed, than I had Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, Buicks and Cadillacs. These cars I bought all new and had beside routine maintanance allmost no problem with.
The service, here in germany is very good and if they don`t have some parts in stock there, they`ll get it like overnight from a Central-Department in Sweden.
I´ve only used it once when the engine light on my DTS went on and what would needed was 2 cam-shaft sensors. ( they came from Sweden)
I love the CTS V but it`s still not available here in germany, thats why I got me a XLR.
So, take it with you to Italy, you`ll get many looks at your CTS V.
If you want to sell it there, you must have the europe specification, that means lights have to be changed, speedo in kph, plus the seller, or the buyer have to pay import-tax.
If you in the Armee you wouln`t have these problems, sell it to one who is in the Armee.
I hope I could help a little

Hi, Harry!
Have you did any changes on your DTS according to the European (or German) rules?
Rauf harryctsv 06-26-05, 07:56 AM Hi, Harry!

Rauf
Hi Rauf,
I had my dealer, in Naples/Fl where I bought it right out of the showroom to change the tail lights and the instrumental-cluster.
The taillights here in europe must have the seperate brake and turn-signal light.
The turn-signal light must be yellow.
The cluster I`ve had put in was from the STS and must have the kph showing.
Both things came from Canada, took two days longer till picked it up.
Here in germany I had to put on the back bright red fog light - that was it!!!!
