finally got off my butt and went today. it was a good day. found a new door panel im going to get in a few and lots of good leather.

for my digi dash hunt i found 2 1991's and a 1990. the 91's appear to be the ones i want but no mileage info yet. need bench testing info on these. i could pull them and test them at the counter. would i just need a battery and some fused wire then just hook up the 12v to the ignition wire on the cluster? or is it a little more involved than that

i found a couronne edition sedan deville and i want the top that it has. its a lot nicer than the other top i found on a 91. feels as soft as the seats. how rare is this edition anyway? white w/ grey guts and vin is 1g6cd53b4m4216222. also how would i remove this to put it on my 89. there must have been a leather option picked on this car because it is softer than any other seat ive seen in those cars.

also im swapping my steering wheel for a air bag one. any problems forseen there by anyone? wont be functional. just going for the look there. but still maybe

if any one knows much about the bottom trim that wraps the car like removal tips and such id like to know that. im trying to find enough to redo my car in the white trim panels cause i think it looks nicer. cant find all the front pieces especially the piece on the passenger front fender.

im also on the hunt for fleetwood wood agian. had it in my coupe but sold it after the crash ... for $5.

i have to get my new door panel and head off to work. id appreciate any help, comments or someone that needs some leather. if theres a probglem mentioniung the sale of seats here do let me know.

mod, wasnt able to send a pm so i did fix it. if it needs work still then edit it acordingly. thanks

The Cluster Is dependent on the BCM in the car. Gets a 16 vol signal from a special integral power supply. Might get it to work with 12 though. Someone on here reported sucess with doing that. As far as swapping the steering wheel, you wont have a problem provided you get the cooresponding parts, like the clock spring (if the horn wire runs through it). The real problem with that swap is finding an airbag stering wheel in good shape. Most have broken down leather by now.
