I have an '86 Sedan DeVille. I installed a new stereo receiver, it was working well for a few minutes, then a very powerful bass frequency through the channels and the LCDs all flickered a few times and then went out, I removed the new deck and put the old one back in and that works, but the new one doesn't and neither do the displays unless I short the radio fuse and that just flickers for an instant. no fuses are blown in the main box or the engine box. I am wondering what may have blown, did the three things die or where the bad fuse may be.
