Grandfather doesn't trust his mechanic anymore than he trusts a bank - my solution was to get a different mechanic, his solution was to ask me to ask you -
1992 Deville, needs a new heater core. Is it necessary to pull most of the dash, or can it be replaced by just removing the glove box?
TIA

I got mine done and you have to remove the whole dash. You can either replace the heater core completely, [200$ plus]or you can just bypass it.[25$] But you wont have a heater.

Do a search for this. There are a lot of posts about heater core problems here and I think some of them say how to replace it.
I did search, but found no specific information related to a '92 Deville. I did find detailed instructions on a '94 though.
Ninetrelac, he states that his '92 is the last year for that particular stlye (2dr?) - would the placement have changed from 92 - 93 because of this? Sorry, I'm not familiar with the line at all...
