I have a 93 eldorado, when it reaches operating temp (220) the car start to run like its flooding out and then stalls. It wont start until it cools down. I also noticed tha once the fuel gauge drops below half tank the car doesn't run right. When it got a full tank i have no problems. could this be signs of a bad fuel pump. please help

operating temp is close to 92C(192-197F). Give or take a little. Not 220F, that is WAY too hot. You might see it spike up to 110 (230F) on the first opening on a cold morning, but it should never ever stay there. Even that bothers me. Typcially the HOT light doesn't turn on till 255+F. That is dangerous territory in a Alum block or headed engine.

But as for your problem, sounds like the fuel pump is overheating and dying, that the common failure mode. It should be less prevailent with a full tank of fuel. It is getting hot. Get it out of there as soon as you can.

And if you are actually running 220F (104C as read by the computer diag display), get a new thermostat and check your ignition timing. It should never RUN that hot unless there is something wrong. It may brush it once in a blue moon, but not stay there. A lean mix from a bad fuel pump can contribute to a hot engine. A lean engine can do a lot of damage to pistons. They are called HOLES.... Been there, done that... (Turbo V8 @ 100+ mph)
