I have the 85 Eld. cursed with the wretched 4100. I'll be stuck with this "thing" for awhile, so i may as well tune er' up. I have been doing a bit of research and would like to drop a 350, or a 307 if I had too, in. I really cannot stand putting the pedal to the metal just to pull out of someone on my local roads going 45, on top of having to plan 3-4 secs ahead because of the HORRIBLE stall! I basically HATE the 4100. May as well have a KOHLER 17 hp lawnmower engine under the hood! Anyways, anyone know or have the steps involving removal of the 4100 and swap to 350!? I have "helped" a good friend swap his Honda civic engine with a suped-up Integra type-r engine, so I'm not afraid to do so on my gigantic eldorado! Any info abot such a swap would be greatly appreciated! Also, whats the easiest motor to switch too with the most performance!? My ego demands that I race at every stop-light! :sneaky:
