I have an 83 fleetwood, with the HT4100. I have had problems with A high idle of 1800 rpm. I saw on another post here that idle is 650 to 800 normal .
Changing the tps and ecm got rid of all my error codes but the car still idle is still at about 1000 rpm and still hitting hard as i go into reverse and drive.
At minimum air setting the car idles perfectly at 420 to 450 warm, cold it tries to stall out idleing at 380 to 420 , as i plug in the throttle position actuator it adjusts the idle back up to 970 to 1100 rpms . can i change this ?
