Hopefully all the pics you've wanted.

oldnew.jpg shows just how "grey" the stock wheels are.
bald.jpg is self-explainatory :D
spare and trunk show just how much space is in the rear well, put the spare in upside down, and the top cover fits, but does not screw on.
The 275s stick out past the wheel well in teh arse, as in rearoverhang.jpg, but it looks good :yup:
Have NOT driven it yet, LOL, i wanted to get you guys the pics. Heading out soon :) peace

Quick Q? What was the total cost?

REVIEW:

first drive.

The hop DIED. Ding dong the hop is dead. She gently chirps now. Lemme tell you guys, I drive the same way, same roads, same weather every day. I'd get bounce-your-kidneys-thru-yo-mouf hopping with first gear straight ahead launches with the F1s....

she just spins em now :) chirping ever so nicely into second :)
chirp, chirp, chirp, that's it. no fanfare, no other cars staring at you :wtf:
chirp chirp guys :)

Stickiness: can't really tell yet. Flooring it makes the arse quiver like before. I think 1" wider rubber helps, will know more as time goes. She did not push, despite staggered sizes.

Ride: smooth, quiet, despite being narrower profile.

Downside: damn if i can think of one right now

oh one more thing...(hehe yeah i know postwhore LOL)

first gear is now obsolete :D
With F1s, we all used to feather the clutch launching in first to avoid hop.
Now in first I just light em up :)
So first is no longer needed, I launch from second now.
Oh and my mods help, I have a "wal-mart" maggie now :p

Very Nice!! Did you go with 9"' or 9.5" on the rear to get the 275s on? Any rub with full compression on the rear suspension? The extra meat sure looks better.

10" rear. It's all CCW makes for our car, 2 styles of 8.5x19F, 10x19R.
NO rub!! John has it all figured out. There is a thin, maybe 4mm spacer plate for the rears now.

20%, possibly slightly darker

Has the overall wheel size changed for the rears? I'm not really sure how to do the math on that one.

Urb, in the rearoverhang.jpg pic it looks like the rears stick out a good amount... but in all the other pics... the rear looks tucked under the fender lip?? Optical illusion?? Does it stick out as much as in rearoverhang.jpg??

No overall diameter (wheel+tire) has not changed... it is within 1/10" of stock.

It is good to see when somebody does a mod without going to stupid extremes.
Do you have an estimate on weight decrease?

urbanski

Dreamin'....i'll get more pics tonite...but best I can explain is if you look at the rear wheel well, it's slanted a bit....so the tires stick out more up front near the passenger door, than they do in back, by the tailpipe...that clear as mud? LOL

DL....yes, the stocker wheel/F1 is 61Lbs, my current ones are 51Lbs.

Great job on the new wheels and tires.

OK.... one stock wheel and whipped F-1 in the trunk. Still hanging on to the other three stock wheels? I picked up a very nice screw in the middle of the tread on one of my almost gone F-1's this weekend. Which is accelerating the need for some new treads.

No. The other way around. I am looking for one stock wheel. Urbanski had been thinking of selling the stock wheels and then he said he was not going to. I was just trying to give him a nudge to see if I could buy a wheel. My F-1's are almost shot and I don't want to go with runflats again. I am looking for a wheel for a spare. If I can't find a stock wheel, I may have to buy a Milla Miglia from Tire Rack.

All of your cars look mean.. "The V-Series, cars with attitude" These cars are some of the hottest rides on the road right now.. IMO! The aggressive stlye the have, I could just look at V's all day. I think I'll head to a few different dealerships, test drive V's all weekend. Until I can afford 1.
