: 96' Northstar cranks, will not start

I recently just fixed my coolant system on my 1996 Cadillac Eldorado ETC 4.6, I tested it with water to ensure it wouldn't leak, ran good after that, but then my (idiot) self decided only to tighten the reservoir to the first lock, and then took it about a mile or 2 test drive and it then steamed up from the reservoir, got the ignition coils wet, I dried those off, after that it was a pita to start and when it did it backfired and misfired quite a bit, ever since then it won't start. I tested all of the coils, one was bad so I replaced it, still nothing. Also, the dash says to service ignition system and reads a P0300 code, multiple misfires. Could anybody tell me what could be the cause of this? Possibly the ignition control module? Also is there a way to test the ignition control module? Thanks in advanced.

Pull each coil and spray the contacts with WD40. Then blow them out with compressed air if you have it. Might do the same with the 4 ICM plugs.

P.S.
One thread is enough.

Did you get it running?
