In an article dated 5/22/05, the NYT reviews the CTS-V without mentioning wheel hop. Instead of Googling the V and learning about the hop, the author (Norman Mayersohn) oogles the v's alleged 0-60 sprint. The author even stated, "The drivetrain merits praise for being free of lurches...."
Any serious journalist reviewing the V needs to try to replicate the hop and to weigh in on the hop issue.
