Nearing the end of my wheel saga.
Let me say THANKS to John at CCW Wheels
http://www.ccwheel.com/

I bought the SP600, 8.5"F, 10"R
245/40F, 275/35R.
"Black chrome" finish. Michelin PS2 goodness on every corner :D

**HRE utterly failed me, promising C20s, but failing to deliver after a 2 month wait. :nono:

Enough sour grapes. Here are my pics. The 275s are MEATY!!! You can see the tread width difference below (275245.jpg)
What is really interesting is the "gap" pics. The diameter of the NEW wheels/tires is 26.5". The diameter of my BALD runcraps is 25.5", exactly 1" less. The diameter of a NEW runcrap (newnew.jpg) is 26.5".
How interesting those of us on baldies are actualy 1" less diameter, what is that doing to our speedos??
The weight of the CCW/PS2 is 51lbs for both the 245 and 275 (interesting again), new runcrap/stocker is 61lbs.

Anyhoo....they'll go on tomorrow, after I have a "send off" for the runcraps. Hey Goodyear, never again.
peace!!

Pray tell...if Shiner is "swill", what do you consider to be good beer? Top 3 would suffice and tell us alot about your taste & judgementability. :yup:

Well, if you must know (and before I say this, Urby, the wheels look sweet).

My personal preference:

1) Something dark and wicked of my own brew, usually far too thick for most to appreciate (technically not beer) :D
2) Guiness, Guiness, or Guiness
3) Bass or Fat Tire...depends on the mood
4) Rolling Rock for those days when I'm feeling "light"
5) Negra Modela if the mood persists, Corona if mis amigos proporcionan para mí
6) Switching guns, must either go Vodka or Gin from here (Van Gogh or Tangueray)
7) OK, it is a lively affair, somewhat social...will stick with Cabs or Pinot which I know nothing about 'cept I like some of 'em!

At least he didn't say Red Stripe

Lastly, not certain "judgementability" is a word, but that word and any of the above beverages don't generally mix :sneaky:

Shaweeeeeeet!
interesting how much the diameters vary eh?
remember when you and I were worried about 19" Toyos being 0.3" different front to back? Well imagine how many of us are driving with no issues at all on worn 1" smaller rears? LOL

Awesome wheels!!

Cadillac is sending me four new rims after they gouged every single one while removing the locking lugs-- idiots. Your wheels are making me think twice about replacing the stockers. Can't wait to see them on.
