I was just wondering what some of your little peevs about the V are? I can stand the push brake.

Besides the usual (wheel hop, diff, etc.), my number 1 complaint is the large number of incompetent dealers who service our V’s. Besides that, give me HUD!

This car is a love hate relationship. Given what it is capable of and given that GM was stretching the envelope a little, I am will to suffer some minor issue. The largest complaint, and the one that would keep me from doing this again, is the terrible experiences that I have had with the dealer. They just do not get it. The fact that things go wrong I can deal with, how they then react when there is a problem is not excusable. GM’s bond credit rating has just been down graded to junk and that is the rating I would give the dealer.

E brake and open console. I don't want my date to see the gun and rubbers in the console, lol!

:tisk: my dealer is unbelievable.. very helpful and knowledgeable... they service guys for my car are the vette techs... they go to training every 3 months...

my biggest complaint would have to be cheap interior (plastic / rubber) everywhere!!! tahts it though... other things can be fixed!

Cleaning the wheels and the constant urge to polish the car!:rant2:

lol at the open console, and I have the same urge to clean the brake dust off every 5 mins and polish the car as well.

Joey, if you'd throw the rubbers away when you were done with them then they wouldn't be flopping all over the console..........

Biggest complaints:

A. Wheel Hop :banghead:
B. Not as classy as my 740iL interior I went from :annoyed:
C. OK factory stereo at best and no sterring wheel stereo controls :cookoo:
D. The fact I have to drive tame when my family is in the car :yup:
E. Speed limits and traffic other than M5's, M3's, Mustang's..... :sneaky:

That I had to drive over 1/2 million miles in 21 years to finally find a perfect car for me.

Ok! It does have a few minor problems such as E Brake location and interior lights too dim. That is really looking for something though.

Dealer Service, wheel hop, dealer service, I can't fit all the chicks in (numbers not size), dealer service, and oh yeah...

Dealer Service Sucks.

2) The stereo has no punch, but I heard LAWFIVE's system and it's an easy inexpensive fix...So refer to complaint #1 as my only actual complaint.

Rearend noises, driveline clunks, and wheel hop. Other than that the car performs better than I expected.

My only complaint is that I can't drive it 24/7!!!

I have to agree with Harley Guy. The fact that Cadillac is willing to even build a car like this makes me willing to cut them some slack for a number of minor things. Since I found a teriffic dealer (Lindsay Cadillac/Alexandria, Va.), I have no rear-end whine, and I manage to drive "around" the wheel hop problem, I am a happy camper. Bottom line: I love my 4-door Corvette!

Since I have to list a complaint, I'll cite the push brake. Other than that, my only problem is that there is not enough time in the day to drive it.

This is a great time to be a car enthusiast! Even Porsche has announced that it is building a sports sedan, but for the same price I can have a V and a C6 Z 06.

I don't have a problem with the e brake, but valet parker's do. Almost half of the time I get my car back with the e brake still engaged. They must think the V has no power. Playing raquetball with my son I injured my right hand, I would have liked a nice 6 speed auto tranny. (I know :helpless: )

Rattles drive me nuts. I've about got them all fixed though. Major one was the rear seats at the fold down hinges. It was hard to locate. While driving it almost sounded like it was coming from the dash area. My trusty copilot (wife) found it for me. A stack of nylon washers is the fix for that.

Major gripe: Dealers' total lack of knowledge of the car.
Minor gripe, major annoyance: Foot operated parking brake.
Overall: Great car; I love it. :)

The drivetrain slop. Way to much clunking and noises due to the diff mount, two piece drive shaft, and flywheel. I had the bushing replaced 9 months ago, and I swear the the clunking is coming back.... :confused:

I was thinking of making a poll to rate the V's drivetrain (minus the excellent LS6 engine).... I'd give it a C- for refinement.

Who's your dealership? I'd be willing to go to Westchester (from NJ) to find one that knows what they're doing. Mine doesn't.

My main complaints would be these:
1. Wheel Hop
2. Hyundai-inspired center pod in the middle of the dash
3. Dash needs wood trim option

The foot operated e-brake, parade clunk, weak rear-end and the non-existence of a six-lug donut spare that would fit in the trunk tub are all mild irritants.

I'm in total agreement with those of us who've said that I still love the car and I'm perfectly willing to cut Cadillac some slack because they stepped up to the plate to offer me a US-built alternative to the Euro alternatives; AMG, S and M. If they'd just fix that wheel hop, I'd be willing to overlook all the other stuff.

1 shity diff.

Other than that, shes tip top...:thumbsup:

1. The parking brake location. I hate having to stop/start on a steep hill.

2. Sometimes when I put the key in, the seat will not return to position, but will if the ignition is started.

3. The mileage (around 10mpg). I think the blower had a lot to do with that.

1. Flux capacitor seems to be on the blink.

Well, with the exception of wheel-hop, most of these complaints are nit-picky at best.

2)Hmmmmm, I'm thinkin, I'm thinking......Oh, yes, the fact it did not come with a 20 something, gorgeous mute, adept at only one thing.......that would only show up on those long drives when alone! Now that makes me mad!

Well I am at "sea level" and that might make a difference, but the mileage was much better without the blower.

Don't get me wrong though, it runs great and I don't regret doing it one bit.

I find the driveline clunking very annoying. It only occurs when I am accelerating or shifting in a somewhat lazy manner, but the feeling of a sudden clunk in the back of the car is unpleasant. It doesn't happen when I press the rpm's properly in each gear.
