For those of you with a MagnaCharger and a boost gauge, what sort of boost numbers do you see, and what altitude do you live at please :coolgleam

Keep it up, Urby, and you'll be seeing vertical bars about every 4.5" :crybaby:

Similar to Urby, the most manifold pressure I've seen in my car is 105 kPa which is works out to about 0.6 PSI of boost.

105 kPa would be 15.23 psi.

Exactly, thus 0.6 psi of boost above atmospheric pressure. :shhh:

i looked this up:

The most I've seen in my car is 105 kPa of manifold pressure which as we've agreed to is 15.23 PSI.

Atmospheric pressure is ~ 14.7 PSI

Thus ~0.6 PSI of boost.

My car is naturally aspirated.

good god! tell me they aren't pushing 15.23psi into those stock blocks!

now 135kpa on a 4 banger feels pretty good, I can only imagine 105kpa in a v8!

No, No, NO......we're only pushing 5-6psi...but I'm wondering what:

RonR
Lawfive
Blitzer
Etc

are seeing ;)

:lies:

My manifold regularily sees 14.7 psi every single day...and it is bullet proof with a factory warranty. :histeric:

Looks into crystal ball, sees Wildwhl shipping his Maggie to IL to where it can be utilized to its full potential.

Blitzer doesn't count; he's in ludicrous land.

I don't have a gauge on mine yet.

I'm heading down to Tucson to pick up some parts with Blitzer on Mon / Tues and he's willing to sacrifice his car for the good of the forum (I'm driving it back), so I'll post some updates and then drain my bank account keeping up.

I'll have to check to be sure (I think boost was on my dyno sheet), but as best I can remember we were right about 336.146902 torr, at sea level, ambient temperature 427.4 degrees Kelvin.
