Is Cadillac skipping an Escalade model year and just jumping to the 2007 models next year??

That has been rumored that the next Escalade will be a 2007 model released early 1st quarter 2006.

The will probably still produce a 2006 model, it will just be a short run. I don't see GM holding back a model in the financial condition they are in.

I eprsonally think it would be a bad choice to come with a new model the present factory has already been paid a while back. I see it just a 1 quarter fix if they release early.

If Cadillac reveals the 2007 before they produce the 2006's with the current body style.... they may be losing out a lot of money from no purchases of the 2006 (everyone holding out for the 07's). I still don't understand why they would change the body style if the current one is selling so well; then again, it has been a few years and time for a change...
