This code comes up when checking. It's for the vehicle speed sensor signal to TCC. My question is what and where is the TCC and where might I find the sensor.

Recently, when I turn off the car I hear a clicking sound and I can fee the gas pedal moving back and forth like it is adjusting itself, come to think about I have actually felt this happening while driving as the car is slowing down . I traced the cliking sound to a part right next to the cruise control assembly. Is this the TCC. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TCC is the torque converter clutch - it makes a direct connection (without slip) between engine and transmission at highway driving conditions. It's inside of the torque converter.

If the TCC is enabled at other conditions than highway, for example while you stay at a stop light, the engine could die off and the TCC can be damaged

But i can't imagine why the PCM should enable the TCC when it's not needed. The error must be somewhere else.

BTW: what a car is it?

It's a 94 Seville STS, I just called the dealer and they told me that the TCC is the traction control. The car runs great without the A/C running, the problem starts the moment I put the A/C on. It seems that whatever unit modulates the RPM of the car is not working properly when I let go of the gas pedal quickly the RPM goes to 0 and I stall, and I could feel the gas pedal modulating up and down trying to maintain the RPM.

what mileage has that car? maybe you have a damaged A/C compressor, which takes too much power, the PCM tries to compensate that, which results in your problems?

Didn't think of that the car has 135000 miles, and I just had the compressor put about 3 mnths ago. Is there anyway of troubleshooting the compressor.

disconnect the cable at the compressor clutch, then it can't be enabled and you can see if your car runs fine without the compressor (maybe you get a further error code for the not-working compressor, but this is ok for testing purposes)

have you replaced only the compressor or including the clutch?

but anyway, i'd hook up the car to a OBD-I scanner and check out what you see there - maybe you get there a more saying code or other info
