I am really curious. Is there is a rational explanation for this poll? :hmm:

Yes. But I don't want to sway the results by explaining now. :D

The FIRST thing to come to mind was sitting down over a cup of coffee in person.

Choosing from the list I picked instant messaging.

OPTION 4; none of the above.

The options provided are all too
cybercentric for me.

Chat is a human quality and pleasureable
indulgence, like 'Chit Chat', you know...
Gals in the beauty parlour talking about 'hunks';
Dudes at the water cooler chatting about babes,
or an animated jocular analysis of the big
game, play, hit, pass, shot or score the
night before. Chat is small talk, jovial
conversing on a topic of interest which
isn't too heavy or serious. Good natured
banter is my primary perception of 'Chat',
being face to face interpersonal positive
human interaction. It is not a computer,
fancy phone, Blackberry or cyber thing at
all for me.
