I would like you know where is a good place to mount the ballasts and the relay on the 02 Escalade? Anybody know where I could get a guide to install a hid kit on a 02 escalade? anyone has any tips for me?

I just did my 02 Esco a few days ago... it's a snap. Just mount the ballasts on any flat surface.... just make sure it doesn't interfere with the hood closing. I mounted my ballast using the double sided tape the kit came with.

What kit did you use? How do you like it so far?

Yeah I would like to know also what kit you used cause i am stumped on my oem hid kit.

I absolutely love these lights... I bought the 8000K (Bluish light) color temp and they were soooo easy to install. Basically, all I had to do was replace the bulb and add the ballast and relay box to each side. Took me less than 15 minutes total.

Are the Phillips OEM kits giving you a hard time? What do you have to do to install them? Maybe I can help you out.

I can not figure out why they are not working at all. it seems like i cannot even test them out to see if they work or not

Yeah the oem swap into a 02 isn't plug and play. Even if you get the 03+ harness it's different and while the light outwardly look's the same the 02 has no place to plug in ballast and the harness from a 03+ wont plug into a 02. I dont want to butcher the oem's and they don't end up working.

Pretty much a 15-minute install on an '02 escalade? Do you have any pics of your ride with the new lights? That is a tempting setup.
