Has anyone.. or does anyone know if the rear seat passenger audio console can be replaced with something else; if so, what have some people put back there? I've seen the playstation hookups there, but can u install a DVD player or anything else? I appreciate any ideas....
BTW: Does anyone know exactly how to set up the PS2 connections in the rear audio console? Thanks!!
I know it can be done. I would check with the dealer first. I have a 2005 escalade ext. It came with the dvd player,ps2 jacks and everything. There is not much difference between your car and mines.. I know the dealer has to be able to do something.

I think he just means the A/V jacks that are on the ceiling on the DVD unit.
Really so it comes with inputs for audio and video. I never knew that. I bought a black 04 ext last year but I didnt get the rear video package, I never knew it had inputs though. I had to put aftermarket inputs in both the 04 and the 02, I never knew you could get them stock with inputs.

I'm searching everywhere trying to find this pic... there is an Escalade on EBay that has the PS2 Controller inputs in the rear console. It looks clean and almost stock (although it isn't). Lemme see if I can find it.

I have a 2000, and you can run your PS2 audio/ video rca cables into the INPUT of your brain (the black box with rca in/outputs) under the rear seat. Video is Yellow on your PS2, and the red and white ones are for audio. I use mine from time to time, so I'm familiar with the system in the 2000 conversion.
