Here's some fun for you guys... my 94 deville's speedometer died on me, spit the good old engine code 24 at me... my dilemna is that I am trying to find where the VSS sensor is located... also, would it be normal for it to just die? I parked it one night and it was fine, started it up the next day to go to work and it was toast... I have other problems in the distributor (cam sensor right now), would that possibly affect that VSS sensor?
Also, how much of a pain is it to change it out if it is fried?

Funny you should mention the VSS temp sensor. Same code shows up on my 85 Fleetwood 4.1,and it won't start.I to would like to know it's location? Anyone?????????? Thanks

I don't know on the VSS, but I would speculate it is near the differential of the trans, so that would put it near the pass side axle shaft, maybe 6 inches towards the center of the car.
