I have a light hum noise when cruising 40mph+. It comes in on coast, decel or accel. It is very light and does not change with loading the wheels. I was wondering if anyone elses has experienced this. Its a V6 model.


I have not taken it back to the dealer yet. Dont really want to let them have it back yet. Still enjoying it to much.

Yes you can, I was talking with the shop forman from my caddy store. He said that they have been seeing a couple come in with this problem. He stated that since the vehicle was built to be AWD they are getting a little resonation through the driveline causing the light hum.

So GM has a bulliten out on it for a trans tunnel lining. So I am going to take it up on tuesday. They are going to put me in another STS so I will see if it does it.
