HI everyone on this beautiful day
My sunroof of my 95 STS was leaking .I took it to the dealer who replaced the gasket and repaired some rust inside the sunroof.I have been back to the dealer 4 times since then ;the sunroof will not open, it can flip up but wont pull back.Everytime they fixed it ;it would open once and not again. They have shaved and trimmed the gascket many times and have put so much vaseline that now the gascket is douling over in the corners wnen I close it. They are blaming my sunroof moter as the source saying its not strong enough,use to work fine before they touched it but I think they have no clue,the gascket does not look like the original one I had before .ANYONE WITH HOPE!!

Take the sunroof off yourself. It's really not that difficult. There are 3 phillips screws on each side that need to come off and then the sunroof glass will come right up. You should be able to find the problem then. In my case a while back, it had been so long since I opened the sunroof that the sun had melted some of the rubber a little so I took it off and cleaned everything out real good and sprayed silicon on the track and moving parts.
