going on a 700 mile trip pulling my GN to bowling green next week, was wondering if i should expect single digit mileage or not.

the car and trailer probably weigh 5000-5300 lbs

I have a regular escalade and when I tow my friends car I get about 9 mpg. Thats around 70-80mph though. I also have 24s so that does not help either. I figure im pulling 4500-5000 lbs. I hope this helps.

yea, that helps me some. i will probably try and keep it under 70, so maybe i can get 10 or 11....

I pulled my CE T/A WS6 Convert with my ESV Platinum twice and it made 8-9 mpg @65-75 mph.

Yeah, it does. My ESV is on ebay right now, ends in a couple of hours and looks like it will sell. I will get better gas mileage pulling my cars with our E-350 Super Duty with the Triton V8.
