man sal are you trying to depress everyone today, but your right. Although rome had a lot more time than we have had so far, but rome was brought down essentially by barbarian hordes(terrorists). we must be vigilant to avoid sharing that fate

Well im not sure about being the end of the world, but it could change the face of the world forever. If you want to know what the end of the world is going to be like, take a gander in the bible...... revelation.

I eventually will be shipped back! As will we all....I don't think the original box is required for shipping though.

What are good plants and how many does one need to generate enough oxygen for a fallout shelter? And, what types of plants can live without sunlight.. Ferns, right? What else?

Katshot

All green plants need light. Some less than others but they all need it.

BeelzeBob

So how does one setup a good fallout shelter with oxygen?

Katshot

Land of OZ is looking pretty good now. Full-size RWD V8 cars are another good reason to move down there.

But no guns down under

Actually, 75% of the earths oxygen comes from algae. Some dont require sunlight, but wont produce as much oxygen.

everybody's got a bomb,
we could all die any day....
but before i'll let that happen,
I'll dance my life away.

It won't be long before someone comes up with a new interpretation of Nostradamus to prove that the world's going to end this year. Hell, maybe I'll do it if I get some spare time. It always cracks me up when some stupid little fish takes that bait.

Build a Fall out shelter with a sky light so you can see whats left of the world around you and have sunlight, If we're not already set into a nuculear winter.

Dead Sled
02-13-03, 07:18 PM
Really, Really thick glass :D

elwesso
02-13-03, 07:19 PM

Dead Sled
02-13-03, 07:20 PM
or the glass blocks at the hardware store

elwesso
02-13-03, 07:24 PM

Dead Sled
02-13-03, 07:26 PM

elwesso
02-13-03, 07:28 PM
i cant think anything that would hold up better. We dont need any titantium, steel reinforced concrete, brick, all we need is plastic and ductape :D

Dead Sled
02-13-03, 07:29 PM
Duct tape will save us all

elwesso
02-13-03, 07:31 PM
In the end, that is what it is going to come down to, duct tape and WD40. What can be accomplished with these 2 things is incredible.

Dead Sled
02-13-03, 07:34 PM
I don't for see the need for fallout shelters

elwesso
02-13-03, 07:37 PM
I agree, i mean some concrete and steel isnt going to hold up against a nuke.

Dead Sled
02-13-03, 07:40 PM
and If you do manage to survive you wont have much of a neighbor hood left either.

Brett
02-13-03, 07:42 PM
probably better to die in the blast unless you want to live out in the wilderness for the rest if your life, which wouldnt be that bad

Dead Sled
02-13-03, 07:45 PM
what wilderness? that will be gone too. I could handle the wilderness if it weren't radio active

Brett
02-13-03, 07:50 PM
radiation wont kill you instantly, go to montana or idaho and youll live 20 or so years...ill see ya there....Camp Cadillac
